Starting from the idea of the altar as a space where relationships between objects, symbols, images, etc., are created, I have created a series of five altar-drawers using collected and accumulated objects, where the narrative has been constructed simultaneously with the piece. Over three months, from my room, I have been building these altars based on intuition and my own imagination, in the same way that I have been selecting/discarding materials and objects that might appear, almost like building dollhouses or small nativity scenes. The narratives are not closed and do not have a single linear interpretation; one can play with the meanings or sense they may take on. The presentation of these was done based on the same idea of an altar, with different levels where the different narratives intersect and relate.
